Nanny: And there’s your Dad on Fisher Island in the big, right in front of the big fireplace there. And you see up on the right, there’s a picture of Dena.
Bill: Yeah, that’s right. I know that picture too.
Nanny: Yeah, there’s a picture of Dena and the other one is, it must be you. But I can’t tell because there’s something in the, in the way. But he’s, yeah, but he looked good. He was smoking like a chimney.
Bill: I mean, that’s the second picture. The one with my birthday party and the cake is right next to the ashtray.
Nanny: He used to smoke a couple, a couple packs a day, but he looks so good there.
Bill: Yeah. You know what I thought was interesting is he did all his work at that desk, that real low desk, the coffee table. And sitting in that chair like it wasn’t the desk at all. And he did all his work for the island in that chair on that coffee table, you know, with a phone and an ashtray, you know, like that was right on that great big coffee table there and like, you know, but that was kind of did the whole thing. I thought, I remember that.
Dena: that was definitely command central. And do you remember the whole Motorola unit?
Bill: Yeah, that’s right. The unit was on the floor just to the right of him. That’s right. With wires all snaked all over the place. We had the TV. Then we got the HBO, you know, the controller.
Nanny: And that must have been backbreaking for him sitting like that bending.
Bill: Yeah, I’m sure. Yeah. That had a lot to do with his back problems.
